    The Human Resources Manager roles is key to the delivery of HR services, providing both strategic and tactical suppport, executing HR services flawlessly from hire to retire, identifying process improvement opportunities as well as positioning LANXESS as an attractive employer.   The HR Manager role for our El Dorado site is a key member of our leadership team. 


    • Leads the HR function at multiple facilities in order to build a high performing organization
    • Will partner strategically with plant leadership team providing expert coaching, counsel, guidance and training to all levels of management including performance management, talent review, employee development and succession planning
    • Manages employee relations at the location, maintaining a union free environment
    • Leads implementation and has oversight for administration of various HR policies and programs including compensation, benefits, affirmative action and payroll processes providing consultation, counsel and advise to the site staff regarding HR and business related topics
    • Leads a team of four, HR Generalist, HR Assistant, and two training coordinators
    • Accountable for the performance and results of team within own discipline
    • Maintains all HR records in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
    • Leads the recruitment efforts for sites
    • Adapts existing processes/methods or devises new approaches without precedent to address atypical situations


    • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with an emphasis in HR, masters and/or SHRM-SCP and/or SPHR certification a plus
    • Experience with multi site locations
    • Strong communication skills
    • Ability to influence all levels and ability to explain complex issues
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Broad HR skills including leadership, management development, succession planning, compensation, benefits and recruitment
    • Contributes thought leadership and innovation to influence change and advancement within the organization
    • Leadership competencies: Collaborates, Ensures Accountability, Drives Results, Instills Trust, Plans and Aligns, Strategic Mindset, Drives Engagement, Builds Effective Teams
    • Credible relationship builder across all levels of the organisation
    • HRIS/SAP HR experience desirable
